How to encrypt an Excel project
encrypt Excel project
If you use a computer, it is likely that you have multiple Excel files on your PC or Mac. As you know, millions of people around the world use excel, which is mostly used by businesses and government agencies. Optimistic, despite Excel 2014, there is a possibility to enhance file security by encryption.
To do this, you must first open the file you want to encrypt and select the Info option, then click Protect Workbook.
Click Encrypt with Password from the bar.
Immediately Excel opens a window for entering the password. You can enter your password simply in the open text, but remember that if you lose your password it will no longer be able to access your file. Excel has no option to retrieve the password entered by you.
When you choose your password, Microsoft will encrypt the file promptly and will request a password every time it opens. Remember, however, that this password will only be generated for the selected file, and for the rest of this Action must be done individually.
